Add your favourite fruits to make them different and delicious every time.
1 Egg or 1/2 cup egg whites
1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
2 Tbsp whole or ground Flax Seeds
2 Tbsp almond milk
3-4 drops Stevia
Pre-heat a frying pan to medium or medium/low heat. Spray lightly with pam. Pour a small portion of mixture and spread over pan. Swirl the pan to spread the batter. Cook until lightly browned. Flip if necessary.
Serve with any delicious fruits you want! Whipped cream, syrup, butter, and cream cheese are also delicious additives, but not quite as healthy. Experiment! These are really simple to make and so tasty. They also only take one small bowl and a whisk to make, so quick and easy cleanup! This recipe made 4 large crepes the first time we tried them. The second time we used a tiny frying pan and made 8. We serve them with a bunch of fruit as a healthy brunch, and are definitely full. Great way to get some delicious protein, and incorporate flax seeds into your diet. Flax seeds are an amazing source of omega-3 essential fatty acids, fiber, and lignans. You will get the most nutritional benefits if the seeds are freshly ground.
